The People Behind the Panel
About Centennial EV Charger Installation
A Colorado-licensed electrical contractor that installs EV charging equipment and very little else, working across Centennial and Arapahoe County.
Our Story
How We Ended Up Doing Only This
Specialisation was not a business-plan decision so much as a response to what we kept finding. Charger installs started arriving alongside general residential electrical work, and a pattern showed up fast: the charger was almost never the difficult part, and the service panel almost always was. Quotes written over the phone fell apart in garages. Homeowners who had been told the job was simple discovered on install day that their 100-amp service had no room for a 40-amp circuit.
So the work narrowed. Centennial EV Charger Installation now does EV charging infrastructure and the electrical work that supports it, which means every crew member spends their week in load centres and conduit rather than splitting attention across lighting retrofits and ceiling fans. Being in the same panels repeatedly is how you learn that a particular subdivision's build era predicts a particular bus rating, and that one brand of load centre in Centennial's 1970s stock has a known reputation among inspectors.
What that gets you is a company whose default answer to a question about a charger is to look first, and whose quote arrives after the looking rather than before. It also gets you an installer who knows what the inspector in your jurisdiction will want to see, because we are in front of them constantly.
What We Are Actually Trying to Do
The goal is unglamorous: every charger we leave behind should be safe, permitted, inspected, documented and sized correctly for the service feeding it, and the price should be the one we wrote down. Charging infrastructure is load-bearing in the literal sense. A circuit that runs at 80 percent of its rating for six hours a night does not forgive a lazy termination or an optimistic conductor choice.
We would rather lose a job to a cheaper quote than win it by skipping the load calculation. That is the whole philosophy, and it is why the free panel read exists.
Six Reasons
Six Reasons Centennial Homeowners Call Us Back
The capacity look comes first, always.
No charger gets specified and no number gets quoted before someone has opened your panel, counted the existing load and checked the available spaces. In Centennial's older neighbourhoods that single step changes the scope of a large share of jobs, and finding out on day one is far cheaper than finding out halfway through.
The permit is our paperwork, not yours.
We pull it, we schedule the inspection, we meet the inspector, and the charger stays unenergised until it passes. You never handle a form or chase a jurisdiction.
EVITP certification on top of Colorado licensing.
Our installers hold Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program certification, which exists specifically because EV charging has failure modes that general electrical training does not emphasise. We are also certified across Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox and Enphase equipment.
One flat written number.
The scope is itemised before work starts and the invoice matches it. If something genuinely unforeseeable appears behind a wall, we stop and show you rather than adding a line quietly.
Colorado weather is designed for, not discovered.
Unheated garages, exposed exterior walls, hail and snow against the overhead door all change what equipment and what mounting height make sense. We specify for a Front Range winter because we work through them.
Rebate and tax-credit documentation assembled while the job is fresh.
Utility programmes and the federal credit both want proof of licensed, permitted work in a particular format. We prepare that package at completion so it is not a scavenger hunt months later.

If you are weighing a charger, the useful first move is finding out what your service can carry. It costs nothing and takes about twenty minutes.
